The Canine Parvovirus (CPV) Antigen Rapid Test is a fast, reliable lateral flow immunochromatographic assay designed to detect CPV antigens directly from canine fecal or anal swab samples. Developed under the Accuvet brand and marketed by VetCetra Healthcare Pvt. Ltd., Kochi, India, this single-use diagnostic kit delivers results within 15 minutes — no laboratory equipment required.

How To Use
- Allow the test device, specimen, and buffer to reach room temperature (15–30°C) before testing.
- Remove the Accuvet test device from the sealed aluminium foil pouch and place it on a clean, flat surface.
- Use the sterile cotton swab provided to collect a canine fecal or anal swab sample.
- Place the swab into the CPV-Ag Sample Buffer and rotate at least 10 times to fully mix the specimen.
- Using the disposable capillary, add 3 drops (approximately 90µl) of the extracted specimen into the specimen well (S).
- Read results within 15 minutes. Results are invalid after 20 minutes.
Interpretation of Results
- Positive: Two colored lines appear — one in the Control region (C) and one in the Test region (T). Any shade of color in the T line should be considered positive.
- Negative: Only one colored line appears in the Control region (C). No line appears in the Test region (T).
- Invalid: No line appears in the Control region (C). Repeat the test using a new device. Check specimen volume and procedure if this occurs.

Storage Conditions
- Store at 2°C to 30°C in the original sealed pouch
- Do not freeze
