Easy Dropper Method

Simple 4-Step Process for Accurate Pregnancy Detection

Step 1: Take Blood Sample

Take a small blood sample from your cow or buffalo.

✔ Test after 30 days of AI or natural mating.

You can test using:

  • Whole blood (direct use)

    OR
  • Serum (clear liquid separated from blood)

Use only the dropper provided with the kit.

The process is safe and does not stress the animal.

Step 2: Put Sample on Test Cassette (Important)

If using WHOLE BLOOD

  • Add 2 medium drops of whole blood
  • Then add 2 drops of buffer solution

If using SERUM

  • Add 3 medium drops of serum
  • ❌ Do NOT add buffer solution

This rule applies for Cow / Buffalo / Goat / Sheep.

Following the correct drop method is essential for accurate results.

Step 3: See Your Result

Wait 10–15 minutes and check the result window:

  • Two clear lines (C + T) → Your animal is pregnant ✓
  • Faint second line (C + faint T) → Your animal is pregnant ✓
  • One line (C only) → Your animal is not pregnant
  • No lines / improper flow → Check sample flow and use a new test cassette

⚠ Each test cassette is single-use only

Frequently asked questions

1. How accurate is the Accuvet pregnancy test?

The Accuvet test is 98% accurate when used correctly. It has high sensitivity (>95%) to detect pregnant cows and high specificity (>98%) to correctly identify non-pregnant cows. This is the same level of accuracy used by veterinary clinics and labs.

2. When is the best time to test my cow?

You can test as early as 28 days after breeding (AI or natural mating). However, for the most accurate results, we recommend testing from Day 35 onwards. Testing too early may give unclear results.

3. Do I need any special equipment to use this test?

No special equipment needed. The kit comes with everything you need: test cassettes, dropper, and buffer solution. You just need to collect a small blood sample and separate the serum (clear liquid part). Your local vet or dairy technician can show you how to do this the first time.

4. How long does it take to get results?

You'll see clear results in just 10-15 minutes. No waiting for days like with lab tests. You can make breeding decisions right away.

5. What do the test results look like?

It's very simple:

  • Two lines (C + T) = Your cow is pregnant
  • One line (C only) = Your cow is not pregnant
  • No lines = The test didn't work properly. Use the second test from your pack.

The lines are clear and easy to read — no confusion.

6. Will this test work in hot weather?

Yes! The Accuvet test is specially designed to work in Indian conditions. It stays stable and gives accurate results in temperatures up to 32°C. Unlike some other tests, it won't fail during summer.

7. Can I test the same cow multiple times?

Yes, you can retest. If you're not sure about the result or want to confirm, you can test again after 7 days. Each pack comes with 2 tests so you can double-check if needed.
